As you may have noticed, we have re-branded ourselves with the name Pilates Inspired Practice. I’d love to take this moment to share with you why I’m so very excited about it and what it means to me Let’s start with the ‘practice’ part. What is a movement practice? It is the beginning of a wonderful moment when we decide to invest in the way our bodies move and take responsibility for how the movement makes us feel. It means we trust ourselves to move in a way that is good for us. It means we value our bodies so much that we will carve time out of our busy days to play. To stretch. To strengthen. To massage. To try to not only listen to what we feel like we need but also feel empowered to deliver what is needed. To know that we are our own best teacher. It is part of any weekly class or session you attend and it moves beyond that into your own investigations at home. My intention with these videos is to help |
