Together our voices are stronger.
Let's join together to breathe, stretch and move the body as we commit to deepening our awareness of injustice, as we take actions to support real and systemic change, and as we cultivate the fortitude and determination to remain awake and present in this moment.

Dear PIP Community,
These are indeed challenging times. Covid-19 is effecting all of us, disrupting our plans and taking both a mental and physical toll on us. Though I’m extremely sorry for the circumstances, I am deeply grateful that these online videos are available during this unique period of time.
If you have any family, friends or colleagues that you think might benefit from a PIP membership, please let them know about the free 2-week trial. There are also currently 5 videos available without any log-in details needed.
Is there something you’re doing that you’re finding helpful? Let us know!
In the coming weeks, there will be more longer full-body classes uploaded for PIP members. If there’s something specific you’re looking for or have a video idea, please get in touch!
Lastly, I’m going to use the PIP platform to set up donation-based live streaming classes. Keep checking this space for updates and info on how to join.
Wishing you all the very best during these strange times. Let’s continue to remain vigilant and calm. We’ll get through this together.
Rebecca & Martin
A new decade has begun. There are perhaps a lot of expectations for the year ahead and I hope that Pilates Inspired Practice can be a tool to help you reach your goals. Whatever they may be, a healthy and balanced body will help you get where you want to go.
We have a lot planned for PIP this year and to that end, from January there will be one new video posted every 2 weeks.
This will give me that extra bit of time and head space to devote to the website changes and to decide how to best curate the content that is currently available. It will also help me learn how to sustainably grow and develop.
As a gentle reminder, there is a lot of benefit from repeating videos you've done before. Having done the class in that particular order before, you can get even deeper into the movement and learn more about your body each time you repeat!
May we all remember to breath deeply and keep moving!
All the best for 2020!
It gives me great pleasure to announce that we just uploaded our 100th video! Wow, this feels like a really special landmark, especially as I think back to when we launched PIP back in October 2017 with only 14 videos.
The 100th video is a short but powerful Brain Boost class. Use it to reset your day and refresh the brain for more clarity and freedom of thought.
If you feel moved to share some thoughts about the kinds of videos you'd like to see, or what you look for when choosing a video, I'm all ears!
Here's to another 100 together!
As you may have noticed, we have re-branded ourselves with the name Pilates Inspired Practice. I’d love to take this moment to share with you why I’m so very excited about it and what it means to me
Let’s start with the ‘practice’ part. What is a movement practice? It is the beginning of a wonderful moment when we decide to invest in the way our bodies move and take responsibility for how the movement makes us feel. It means we trust ourselves to move in a way that is good for us. It means we value our bodies so much that we will carve time out of our busy days to play. To stretch. To strengthen. To massage. To try to not only listen to what we feel like we need but also feel empowered to deliver what is needed. To know that we are our own best teacher. It is part of any weekly class or session you attend and it moves beyond that into your own investigations at home.
My intention with these videos is to help
3. Completing simple tasks is rewarding.
This trip reminded me how satisfying it is to explore new places and complete simple tasks. It was my first time traveling in Crete and my first time driving since January. After picking up the car and driving on some pretty challenging roads to the first hotel, I felt so proud and satisfied. And it continued on like this - learning a new town, finding the path on our hike, getting what I needed at the grocery store, all of these small simple tasks. I found it so satisfying to make these less nuanced decisions that have an immediate impact!
